Decoy question

Do the flat cardboard decoys work? I saw that Renzo made some flat decoys that look very good but I would think a turkey would take one look and get the heck out of dodge!

I have one that is just the back of a tail fan and it has worked good for me at times.

I have a tail fan,I wasn't that impressed,But different times will call for differnt measures.
So it might work OK,I usually use a full size decoy.
