Cold Weater and turkeys???

Here in indiana our season does not start for 11 more days(April 23) Here the birds have bread early this year and with the resent cold weatherI have some questions.
1. With the birds having already bread and the hens gone to nest, will the cold weather force hens toabandon their nest in order to stay warm?

2. If so, then will the hens come back and breed again? and if so how long will it take for them to be ready to breed again?

I dont think this cold weather will effect them much. Ive been watching strutters everyday. They still are with the hens. I hate to correct you but Indiana season opens the 25th.

You have nothin to worry about...ive shot two turkeys when its been cold and snowy. Theyll still react to your calling.
