Rem 870 Express Magnum
Brownells guncoteOD green matte finish
weaver rings and bases(drilled & tapped it myself)
Cabela's 2.5X shotgun scope

Got the gun for $50.00, the guy who owned it didn't like it because the reciever was rusty. Bless his heart.

Well mine is my Mossberg 500. Ive never seen a gun yet out perform it. Although others might not agree because its not an expensive gun but it sure does the trick. Thats what I'm comfortable with and thats all that matters to me...

Just curious... What's the appeal of a scope on a shotgun? Your shots are going to be at short range where iron sites are more than sufficient, and you get the nice pattern from a shotgun without the need to be able to drills holes like you have with a deer rifle.

outdoormafiaKP, i like to see some fellow Hoyt shooters around here. Its like Ford versus Chevy. Matthews claims to be in its own class so know it is Hoyt versus Bowtech. I owned a Liberty but found the Hoyt to be more comfortable and forgiving. I think Mathews is wrong with their statemnt "catch us if you can" Recently I have seen IBO soeeds out of a Hoyt and Bowtech blow the Switchback XT out of the water. They werent greatly faster, but 20-30 fps is a difference. Mathews shooters think they are special but truley it must be nerve racking knowing you have to try to always outshoot everyone of your buddies without Mathews to not get ripped and picked on. Straight shootin' everyone.
