RE: Team #1 "The Tominators"

Sorry all I was able to contribute was that one jake, but I gotta say, you guys are some turkey killing fools! What a great season, despite my only taking that one bird. I did have the opportunity to call in 5 long beards althoughI didn't connect, and most days (not all) I at least had some gobbling activity going on. This has been the most action packed season I've had and even had the opportunity to see an albino (possibly piebald) deer on one of the farms I was hunting on. If I can swing permission this fall for an archery hunt, I know where I'm gonna be setting up :) Also, I wanna thank Joe A. You sent me those strikers before the season started, before we even knew we would be on the same team. I usedone of themto call in 3 or 4 birds this year and I'm sure I'll continue to use it next season. Glad I could be a part of this team. Enjoy your summer everyone!

I just want to say thanks to all of you guys for getting your scores to me in a timely manner which enabled me to keep our score up to date and didn't make a lot of extra work for me in trying to track you guys down.
Which in turn, made it alot easier on me to get scores posted. Some of the other teams, I have had to hunt down and ask for scores, and when I did finally receive them only from the highest scores they had. I really like to post all the scores from all your harvest, so folks can see what a good time/season you had. I haven't tallied the scores yet, but at the beginning of this post you will see a post of mine where i said there is a reason we are called Team #1. You guys are awesome and you have done a great job and it has been my pleasure to be on your team. Ya never know, we may some day be in the same neck of the woods and end up on a hunt together.

I did have the pleasure of hunting this year with "Lilhunter" from Alaska, and I did get to take a good tom and he had a couple opportunities. It is a whole lot differant for him, when you are smokepole hunting. You have to get your birds a whole lot closer to harvest one.

Congrats to you all on a fine season. Even if you didn't harvest a bird, it is the thrill of the hunt and being in the timber that makes the time you have. The kill is just the bonus.

How did it turn out? Its designed for a 20 X 30, but it would be good to know if it printed good in an 8 X 12 just in case people want a smaller one. Also, how much did that cost ya?

It turned out great. The cost was hard to determine cause I didnt look at the receipt. There were a total of five pictures and one was the 8 x 12 for like $5 and some change. So it was rather cheap and already on the wall.
