Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

the more pellets the better, but all it really takes is one in the head or a couple in the neck. i would perfer using the full or extra full choke tube. really at fourty yds or less, it want matter. good luck and hunt hard and hunt safe.

Well at 25 to 35 yards I got anywhere from 10 to 20 BB's in the head and neck and at 45 I got about 10 in the head and neck, Do you think that is good enough... Or should I buy a different Choke and see what it does for me..

If you got 10 in the brain/spine at 40 yd, it's outstanding. If you got 10 on the turkey target, you could do better. Before you buy a different choke, try a different shell. Many turkey guns are finicky about the ammo that works best. Your gun may be an outstanding performer using a different brand/shot size.

Get a choke labeled "Turkey ", or "extra full". Then go to a Turkey load for guaranteed harvest. I like the Winchester Supreme's. Ten shells in a box for about $10.00, but so far the box has lasted me 6 years! (One per season!) Still got 4 years to go before buying another box.

I use a factory choke in my Mossberg 500. Its an xx-ful turkey choke. It delivers a mean hit. I also have found that 3in 5 shot 2oz load (federals) shoots the best from my 500...

When you say head and neck that really dosent tell me much... A good turkey target will have the brain and neck vertebra high lighted... After you shoot you need to count just the hits in the high lighted area
