Default Rem. 870 set-up?

What's everyone's set-up for Rem. 870 I'm using 3.5 Rem hevi-shot and Rem hevi-shot choke but thinking of trying a Jellyhead choke

With my 870 I am using a factory Rem. hevi-shot choke that measures .660
and my best patterns with all the chokes and loads I have is with that choke
and Rem. hevi-shot 3 1/2 inch # 5's. It throws a very deadly pattern at 40
yards. My next best set-up is a factory choke that measures .685 with Rem.
Nitro 3 1/2 #4's. It also throws a deadly pattern at 40 yards. I tried Hevi-13
#4's 3 1/2 2 1/4 oz. of 4's yesterday and it did not do nearly as well. I wanted
to get away from using #6's if I could because I wanted more down range
energy. This is what I came up with shooting many loads this week.

Just bought a Rem 870 SPT with the 23" barrel rifle sights last spring... With the Rem factory superfull choke and Win 3.5" #4's... I get about 18-20 hits in the vitals at 40 yards... Shot a gobbler last spring at 56 paces... All I can say is awsome set up!!!

Just won a new 870. Have a 23" barrel, Xtra full turkey choke, a Tasco 2-4.5 scope with circle reticle and shell is to be determined. Got to pattern it this weekend if the weather cooperates. I will let you all know what I find out about the right shell!

Rem 870 SPS-T with thumbhole, Primos Jelly head choke, 3.5 Federal Flight Control #5 shot. I plan on getting a scope for this gun later in the year and then she will be exactly how I want her....for now.

I've got the 870 super mag. 26in barrel. 3.5in federal fligth control # 5 out of the factory super full turkey. 12 kill hits at 40 yards. A few in the beak and some in the lower neck that i didn't count. Easily a dead bird.
