Busting Hens?

Default Busting Hens?

I was just wondering if anybody has tried scattering the hens away from the gobblers in the spring,I've busted flocks in the fall but haven't tried it in the spring

if you had a henned up gobbler on roost with the hens. then i think you should bust them up as long as it's before daylight so they can't see you. it would improve your odds because the flock would be scattered and after flying down the boss could be a couple hundred yards from the hens. and maybe you would be between him and his heram.
but no if the birds are on roost and it is light enough for them to see that a hunter has spooked them.
