I just got assigned to your team and plan on hitting the woods on Saturday for the Opening Day! Hopes are high, I have 3 tags open and really planning on working hard this year to get at least 2 good birds and we will get them both on film!

Great to be on your team all!

Looking forward to a great season!

Welcome aboard huntinglife. Doesn't look like we'll have a great day for an opener here in the Old Dominion but I'm going anyway. Hope you havea good time.

Yeah the Old Dominion is looking like it is going to be a bit wet! I am hunting Quantico Marine Base if I can get on, and then hoping for the option to get on Monday morning as well but not yet sure if that is going to be a reality! Going to try to get out until 9am each morning and then change and head into the office for the day! Will depend on the day!

Hey Hi guys. Been too busy hunting lately to post. Had a good w/end despite the crazy weather we are having this season in Tennessee.

Killed two birds this weekend and I am scoring the best of the two. Not a great bird, but a typical two year old. He scored 56.5 points - 21 lbs, 9" beard, 7/8 inch spurs. I actually snuck up on this turkey because he would gobble but wouldn't come in. The wind was blowing about 20-30 mph and I was able to take advantage of that as it hid my noise and movements.

The first bird of the weekend was taken on Saturday on the last day of a public quota hunt on a local WMA here in W. Tennessee. He didn't score quite as good as the first one - 19 lbs, 8" beard, 3/4" spurs. Shot him in the rain and winds in the 20s.
