Hey Paul, welcome! I was MIA all weekend as my wife bought a house and were moving all weekend. The reports I've heard are of turks gobbling already here in IL, so hopefully they can wait until Apr. 20 to get real cranked up!

I went out scouting a couple days ago and I only saw 2 gobblers, but this one gobbler was HUGE! His beard was dragging the gound and he had a pretty big body on him. Hopefully I can get him before somebody else in the area gets him!

Went out this weekend heard 8 on satursay and 11 on sunday. The youth season starts Saturday, going to be good for the kids. I hope every kid gets the biggest gobblers in the woods.

I hope you youngen picks off a turkey this weekend. It is so fun to see the kids put the smack down on a turkey, are youth season starts April 13th and I have my boy his cousin and one of the neighbor kids who are pumped about going, I hope I can get them all a turkey. I might have to do a little jugglen. Then it will be my turn to put one down!! I went and watched the turkeys this weekend seen some showing off, they are hooked with hens. Good luck to your boy and to everyone on the team. Lets go make some unforgetable memories. I am so excited cant wait.
