I'm looking into buying a new choke for my 870 super mag. I'm lookin in the $20-$50 range. I have the factory turkey choke, i't not really inpressive. I'm lookin at buying the undertaker, orthe jelly head, and finally the chomp-N-Choke from cabelas. I want to easily kill a turkey at 45-50 yards. I don't want to shoot the heavy shot either, just normal 3.5in turkey loads. What's your opinion

I have the 870 SPS super mag... With 3.5" Win HV #4's factory choke...I get about15-18 hits in the vitals at 40 yards... I killed my gobbler last spring at 56 paces... I'm figuring the shot at about 50 yards... I will pattern my gun at 50 yards in the next couple weeks to see how many hits I get in the vitals... I've never patterned a gun that far until I got this super mag... Gun is awsome:)

my factory choke says lead only, does that mean i can still shoot heavy shot, just not steel, or is is heavy shot considered lead.

Hevi-Shot is not considered lead It is recomended that you use a choke tube designed for Hevi-Shot use

I've heard good things about the C-N-C tubes. I considered getting one myself. But then I got an Undertaker and it gives me excellent patterns. I've heard mixed reviews about the Jelly-head. It depends on whether you prefera ported or unported tube.
