Wheres the turkeys
 

The ranch i hunt down in south Texas doesn't have any turkeys. But the ranchs around us do. How can I get some of the birds on their places to come to ours. Although we have a cougar on the place right now that Im trying to get.

do y'all manage the land for turkeys as well as the other critters....i'd do that, get rid of the cougar and maybe even set some corn out.....i just dont know.....

Hey Killer,

We had a problem years back with keeping a large flock of turkey on our place. Found out we had 3 Bobcats that were just running what few stayed to death. So they left.

We made short work of the short-tails the following fur season. We set out our feeders and made sure water was close by and the rest is history. We had a flock come back and now there are 200 to 300 back on the place.

Safety, feed and water will get them there for you.
