Guillotine turkey broadheads

anybody ever heard of these? i was at gander getting some arrows refletched and was wandering around the store and they had a video of these things in action. they looked pretty incredible. they look like a field point tip, but have 4 2" blades sticking straight out from the end. basically, if the shot was right, the turkey's head would just fall off. im going turkey hunting for the first time this spring and cant wait. i'll be using a gun, but these bh's looked pretty incredible. anybody else see em or have an opinion on em?

I know Pro staff that have used thme and have asked them the same question.

I was told you will need to tune them a bit - there are other broadheads that will not need tuning.

But I agree watchin that vidoe of the Tom's Head comin' clean off ...well....I wuz droolin! :)

i've heard people bitch about them that they are too cruel and not real hunting. actually they are the most humane way to kill a bird with a bow. you either cut their head off or hit them in the body and it bounces off.

We have the Double Bull guys out here alot and they love em.

you need to be a pretty good shot to use them, obviously.

make sure they are legal in your state. they were illegal in SD for a while but i think they finally changed that.

I wonder what kind of quiver you would have to have because I wouldnt want to walk around the woods with an arrow on my rest with that sucker on the end, It would probably be dull after cutting you a trail to you hunting spot-LOL

I have heard they are only good for one shot. Seems like it would be expensive to tune.
