Default pileated woodpecker call

i was thinking about getting a pileated woodpecker locator call but just wanted to know if they work pretty good or are they a waste of money? thanks for the help!!

I had one and threw it away. We have lots of pileated woodpeckers here, but I rarely hear a bird respond to one.

I've used it with some success, man, my kid was good at it. He's off in the NAVY now, I don't think he'll raise a Gobble from out at sea. Anyway, the Primos triple threat works pretty good, very loud and high pitched but gets wet and dies from time to time. You need to mark the reed and assembley of the dang thing and take it appart at home once so you can get it appart in the woods if needed. I also have a Haydels but preffer the Primos even with the problems. It's supose to replicate a pileated wood pecker, a peacock or a coyote. It aint get'n it on the coyote but no self respect'n Gobblers ever guna go in the direction of a coyote anyway.
