Bowhunting Turkeys

How many of you turkey hunt with bows? I am going to try it out this year. If you do, have you ever used the guillotine broadheads and went for a head shot? Just wondering how well they work. I have saw them on TV, but wondering of others opinions?

I bowhunt for turkeys but I use my four blade muzzey broadheads , those Guillotines are nice .
At $35.00 apiece , I'll stick with what I got and I did manage to decapitae a hen during a fall hunt a few years back.

I hunt with my bow and use the same muzzy broadheads that I use for deer or any other game. I would rather shoot for the kill zone than to try to take off its head. You will have a better chance. If you miss the head he is gone, but if you miss the heart/lungs area by alittle bit and he is broadside you will hopefully pin his wings so he won't be able to fly away and you will be able to catch up to him.

I will be giving it a try in Kansas this spring. I will be using a mechanical broadhead of some sort. I may be using an Eastman outfitters mechanical. I do not know if it even has a name. My buddy uses them and he gave me one to try.
April 1st cannot get here quick enough!!!!!!

I think I am using the recurve for some of the hunts. Never shot one with a recurve.
