Pay $145 to hunt turkeys?

How many of you would pay $145 to hunt on private land that you would virtually be guarenteed to get a longbeard?

Every swinging !@#$ on this forumThat's not going to last long dude... That price will be going up as the years go by and more and more land is lost to developers...

You'll be making some new friends soon;)

Well fortunately my family owns the land (so I don't have to worry about a developer taking it or the owner charging more in the future). The $145 is what the state of Missouri charges out of state residents and I (unfortunately) live in Kansas.

No such thing as a guaranteed longbeard but would pay that for the chance.

Lots of us would pay that license price, its just part of the game if you want to play. So if I am understanding your post, you aren't asking if folks want a crack at this property, just whether or not YOU should pay the money, right?

I think its a great opportunity as far as I'm concerned, + you will get some deer options (I think) with that same license so you could go back in the fall, No?

I remember when a non-res only paid 50.00 for a Mo. tag. It is only getting worse. More $$ for the tag and less turkeys to hunt.
