I completely forgot about me having this pic but I thought i would share, this is the same area i will be attempting turkey hunting on and it is also the same land i deer hunt on. Im really not sure about turkey size and whats big and that sort of thing so let me know where this guy ranks..

He's got nice beard length. I'd definately try to take him if he walks in front of you this spring.

Thats a good point. Gobblers usually don't travel with hens in the fall, with the exception of jakes.

Yea, I didn't notice that a first glance...could very well be a bearded hen.

definetly a bearded hen. The head is grey looking, I would say she is the dominate hen. I've actually seen hens fight for gobblers, pretty crazy stuff.

That could well be a hen the beard is pretty slim . If the color was better it would be easy to tell .

that is a hen. it has no waddles, and the feathers go all the way up to the top of its head. Hens can be amazing! i have seen them gobble, strutt, and do all kinds of things. only once though.
