Well, it was a wet spring, but from what I have seen, the hatch was still good. Also, the winter has been mild, making the polts chance of survival even greater. I'm hoping for a great season. Good luck at the USAFA, and bag a long beard.

The hatch last spring was modest, but better than I expected due to the very wet spring...

More important, wasthe 2005 hatch, which was very good...That should result in a good number of hard gobbling two year olds out there this spring...

Of course, weather may make or break the season..Hard to predict that..

Irregardless, mating WILL take place and there will be the opportunity to kill some gobblers..
