what is the most poplar turkey gun?

my vote would be the remington 870 pump. whats yours? thanks for your opinion i trying to get out of this fawn stage.

i use my rem1100 she has served me well so far in any game

but the rem's 870's xpresses are really popular for turkey hunting

"Most Popular", would have to be a pump gun. Remington has sold a zillion of those 870's, so they are quite popular indeed!! Winchester's 1300 is another popular pump gun, as well as Mossberg's 500 and 835, Ithaca, and the Browning BPS as well.

But, to stretch this one a little further, a semi-auto shotgun would be the "best" in my opinion for turkey hunting. You can't beat the recoil reduction factor as well as the superior speed for a second shot, "if" needed!!! The cost factor alone, between these two shotgun actions, is what makes the pump gun much more popular in my opinion!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I hunted for many years with one of my two Ithica M37's. But last year went with a 870.

I think the remington 870 would be the most popular,but I would not trade my mossberg 835 for one any day.

I to would have to agree that a pump is the most widely used,but myself and the 2 guys I hunt with use Browning autos.
