Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Motion Decoy

I have used motion decoys in the past - wonder if you guys have had any success using motion decoys - I am looking for some new improved models this year - ones that are not bulky and last longer. Any help? What do you think about the ethics concerning using motion decoys to draw in an old TOM - I know that duck hunters are really into motion - what about the turkey hunters??? I have seen them perform -just wondering--

Does'nt mean they dont work Bird Dog, but I just have'nt had the same success everybody has using decoys of any kind.I save my money and have lots more room in my vest for something else than a decoy.I was sick and tired of having to many big ole gobblers sit out there and strut there head off when they seen the decoy,&quot;out of gun range&quot;wanting the decoy to come to them.I still get my birds every year and put my time and effort more into my set-up than relying on a decoy to lure my birds in.Obviously they work for many here, but as for me I'll save my money and keep doing my thing!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I agree with you Bob,they may work for some people but I think you could kill the same birds without them that you do with them.I can see where they would be good for bowhunting.I would like to try that breeder decoy setup once just to see the toms reaction.
