Nice bird my friend, and gorgeous pictures to boot.
I must say, coupled with the thunder of gobbling, the smells and sights of Spring are more than enough to get me out of bed at 3:30am everyday for a month

Nice story and great bird!!! 
I also take my own pictures with the help of a self timer. It does take quite a few times to get that "one" picture b/c 8-10 seconds isn't always enough to get in position.
