I CANT BELEVE I MISSED
 

well this is the sotry well this morning i went out and i got into my blind a little late and a turkey in a tree wa sputting at me and i sat in my blind for about 2 hours i got so cold from the rain i decided to leave. then when i left it started putting again i couldnt beleive it was still there in the tree it was now like 7 or so still roosting i stared at it in the tree it was a hen. then when i got home i went back to bed then my mom comes in and tells me theres a turkey out back but there was no way to sneack so i walked strait tords it and then it got behind this little point when i came around the point it was rihgt there i saw it abotut 35 yards and i could tell it was the jake i had been seeing so i pulled up the gun by this time he had seen me and he was taking off for the woods and when i shot he was pritty much in them and i had completely missed him when i shot it went right over his back i beleive.I cant believe it i missed everybody misses but grrrrr still all month

I guess you were meant to get a bigger one!! Hang in there at least you completely missed and didn't wound him for him to maybe die later. He'll be around. Good luck!!

I agree with Chuckclear ,you've got lot's of time left ,keep trying .I'm sure you'll get an even better bird next time .
