Campo's tomahawk is red

Well boys, I FINALLY connected this morning at 8:30.
See the pic below.
I will post the score later, but he was 16.5# (must have been breeding ALOT, no feathers left on his breast)
7/8 " spurs, both left and right.
7.5" beard
2 year old bird.

I started out at a spot where, after alot of pressure, I could work without anyone else being there. I set-up an ambush in an area were I knew the birds would come to to strut. Got there at 4, and set-up. Like clock work, at 5:30 the field fills up with 13 birds, 4 of which are longbeards. I call sporatically, but to no avail. The closest any bird got was 75 yards. I stayed there till 7:45, when the moved back across the creek and up the hill.

I went to my car, and got that funny feeling in my stomach, nasty gurgles. So I decide to take a mid morning break and go to my cabin, only three miles away, then come back and work some birds. Well, as I get two miles up the road, I see a bird in strut with no hens working out of a field and into a broken woodlot. I decide I can hold it, and double back, park, and race up the otherside of the woodlot and set-up. Set-ups are not that great, so I lay against and behind a stonewall that had kinda been knocked over. I start yelping and cutting, and I get an insta-gobble. Wait five, call again, and he is closer. SWEEEEEEEEET. My arm starts to go numb, so I gotta move a little. I do, call again, and GOBBBBBBLEEEEEE. There he is, strutting back and forth at 55 yards. Patience, I tell myself, no 55 yard shots. I cutt, and he is gobbling like crazy. Thisgoes on for 20 minutes. I have to move, my hand is falling asleep, so before I do I scan around. DOH, there is a hen 10 yards away, looking right at me. I freeze, and have no feeling in my hand. Somehow, she doesnt see me, and walks away. I cant take it, so I move my arm, and cutt again to see if he is still there. GOBBLEEEE, he is moving to the left, and closer. I get the gun where it needs to be, and try to make my hand feel, since all my fingers but my trigger finger are now numb. He comes out from behind a tree, and moves five yards and gobbled. I placed the red, then pumped the lead right as he gobbled.:D
He didnt move after that, a few flops, that was it
