any ohio hunters having trouble calling them in this time of the season...seems like they all shut up around here?...i'm gonna try a new spot tho this weekend where my buddy said he head some

It was hard for me this year. I shot mine on Wednesday after hunting hard from the start of season. It took 50 min to call a jake in close enough for a shot! car

I havent had much trouble but it seems to vary day to day. My wife and I called one in at 2pm yesterday just to video and he gobbled all the way in, dont really see how he made it this long as much noise as he was making. I also saw a tom showing off for 2 hens yesterday at about 6:30pm.
