MLB puts one to sleep

Busted one yesterday at 39 yards...

18lb 9.5" beard 7/8" spurs

Almost dropped another one today... Was moving on this gobbler all morning right up to quitting time... Had him at about 40-50 yards just over a noel... They have a nack for being just over a noel;)

Let me be the first to say congratulations!

I was in Garrett county the first week--like you and I got into turkeys everyday, but couldn't get a shot. I had repeated examples of your "just over a knole" scenario. If I every get over this awful cold, I'm thinking about a return trip for a day or two next week.

With gas prices like they are, that's an expensive turkey!

Good luck on getting your 2nd one.
