Another for team 2....

Well I have another for team 2:
I killed him At 12:00. I was on my way to the car after not hearing anything.
I got up and walked about 50 yds.
And he started gobblin his head off!!
He musta heard me rustlin the leaves.
I quickly grabbed the side of a tree. Gave him 2 or 3 purrs, and a couple excited cutts. And he and his buddy came runnin as fast as he could run.
The funny thing about it is, it wasn't until I started moveing around that he would gobble. I called and called just moments before, and got no response.
Well, this is one time moving paid off.
This is a veryold bird. The scales on the back of his legs is worn off.
And his spurs are worn.
He has 2 beards. Both of which, is worn down to nearly nothing.
They look like they have been burnt on the ends.
His weight: 21lbs
rt spur: 1"
ltspur: 1 3/8"
1st beard: 6 3/8"
2nd beard: 3 5/8"

Your score is 21 + 10 + 13.75 + 12.75 +7.25=64.75
Here is a pic.
By the way does anyone know how to age a bird?

Atta boy go team #2!

You add the beards togther!

here

had that beard been long than 6 inhces----like the 2 beard I shot - both were over 9" you score really goes up....

NWTF score is 21 + 10 + 13.75 + 20 = 64.75

You can sorta age a turkey by the spurs -
