Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Your season has just opened or is about to. What are the season bag limits in the northern states? How many one bird limits are there? To me it would be a shame if my state had a one bird limit and I killed him opening day and did not hunt another state. My season would be over after one day. That would be tough. Are many of you dual state hunting?

Here in Ct 2 in spring for public land (me) and 3 on private. There has only been turkey hunting here for about 25 years I think, so for quite a few years limit was one (had a few of those one day seasons myself). NY limit is 2, one per day

In PA, it's one turkey in the fall, and one bearded turkey in the spring but for the first time with a mail in application PA offered us a second spring tag.

On private land in CT we can get 3 and on state land 2.

You can only apply for 1,state or private.I'm hunting on private land so i got 3 tags.Went to the land i'm hunting today and seen 12 toms [8D]and no hens.

Yes and is the reason I have already shot 2 as my state has not even opened for me yet!

I hunt dual states Indiana and Missouri. Ive killed one in each state and will be headed back to Missouri for 1 more. Indiana only allows 1 tom and I got that on opening morning. I got my first this year in Missouri on their 2nd day. I can get 1 more in Missouri...
