I got this bird on Easter Sunday. I haven't posted it's score in the other room yet because I'm hoping to geta tom before the contest is up. Nonetheless, I am happy with this one. At least I didn't get skunked.

The first bird of the season for me, two more to go. I stalked this Tom and finally took him with a 30 yard shot with my Hoyt Trykon XL with Gold Tip Hunter Pro tipped with a ABC Sonic broadhead. Weight was 21 lbs, 9 1/2 beard, 1 inch spurs and a complete fan. Lots of good meat that was appreciated.

Our season opened yesterday ,but I had to work ,so I opted to go out this morning.Since I've had bad luck the last couple of season's ,I decided to get the monkey off my back and took this jake just to start my season off right .I took this bird with my new Mossberg 935 Autoloader at about 40yrds . I'll garauntee my next will be a good one .
