In a light rain, I'm out there. But in a hard rain or downpour like we had last Saturday, I head back to bed and see if it gets better later. It did finally stop raining . . . about 1/2 hour after hunting hours were done for the day!

daveH - yea sat. wasNASTY wasnt it? I went to Green ridge hoping it would just rain a little (or none) but it freaking pourrredddd. I was a little upset. If i knew it was that bad, i wouldnt have went. But yea, a drizzle to moderate rain fall i can stand, but a downpour it just isnt fun or really productive. Getting all wet, not hearing 50 yards ahead of you and the fact that the turkeys cant really hear me gets me discouraged. But i will be out this weekend if mother nature allows. DAVEH, what part of country do you hunt?
