Bagged my first bird today !
 

Was in the woods less that 15min when this guy showed up. Had just bought a new 870 supermag last night ( was using a friends) and got to use it the next day. I'm still pumped, he should be on the grill by 5. Hope y'all had some luck as well.

Those small birds eat goodtoo.:DNice bird, congrats. Now you are an officially hooked turkey hunter. There is no going back now. It's nice to get them quick. I killed all three of my turkeys in less than 30 minutes after setting up. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen that way. Was this your first bird period or first for the season?

Good one man. My season starts tomorrow, and this just psychs me up. I saw 2 big gobblers on Easter morning lighting it up. Just have to be there tomorrow.

Atta boy!! The first is a good and bad thing, the good is that you will always remember it. The bad.....now its in you blood, and you'll want to travel and buy call after call, and spend and spend.....:);)...and its so great!
