I have also gone deaf even though I wore hearing protection when I did repetitive shooting and now use the Walker Game muffs on all trap and turkey hunting.....works great.

Great topic- I just posted yestreday in the guns forum about losing a shooting buddy due to tinnitus, it ended up putting him in a psych ward for four days. He is now swearing off guns.
