Need some input on mouth calls...

I'm down at school and I left my Pittman calls at home. No one sells them around here so I'm going to have to go with another brand. The only place I can really get a call is Dicks Sporting Goods.

I'm looking for a call that they might carry that isn't terribly difficult to use and doesn't sound like a dieing rodent. I also like a little bit of raspiness to my calls. Anyone have any recommendations on a Quaker Boy, Primos, HS Strut, or any kind of mouth calls? Thanks in advance :)

I use mostly custom calls from small guys now, but I used to blow the Quaker Boy "Old Boss Hen". If I recall it was a 3 reed raspy call that was easy to blow - you might want to give it a try.

Try the primos limbhanger, it's my favorite call.

I use quaker boy mouth calls. I use the pro triple, old boss hen and a raspy hen. They all work great.

well due to dicks limited selection i ended up buying the Primos Diamond Cut because it had the rough material instead of the smooth which tends to slide around more. Turns out this was just what I was looking for. really close to the Pittmann Black Diamond. Thanks for all your suggestions
