SD Browning, first let me say Welcome!! For anyone who hunts these forums are very educational.

I have taken a number of turkeys with my Super 90. Mine has a 21 inch barrel and I have been messing around with a Metro barrel as a way of comparing results (short barrel versus long barrel).

So far in addition to the factory chokes I have tried a Trulock, Truglow (strutt stopper), H.S. Undertaker, and a Kicks Gobbling Thunder.

The one with the largest inside diameter (.675) is of course the Undertaker designed for Hevi Shot. Using Hevi Shot thereisn't a noticable difference in performance than using one of the others. However if you switch to lead then the pattern in my gun isn't as tight but will still kill anything within 40 yards.

The other three have an inside diameter of .660 and are all of similar design; ported, tapered, and extending past the barrel. They range in price from around $30.00 to $60.00. In all honesty on any given shot I can't tell a nickles worth of difference in their performance.

Hope this helps...Good Luck! :)

You might want to call Rhino and see what they suggest, or call winchester and see what size choke they recomend with their shells.
