Day 8, Moved.
 

Moved to another place this morning, not a bird to be heard anywhere. I did see one fly down but don't know what it was.

JW, Know you're having fun at my wore out butt, and yes the offer still stands, however not til I kill that ole tom. Going to move back in on him Monday. I believe if you came down and killed that bird right now, I would have to hurt you, kick your dogs, talk ugly to wife,put you on some porn web, etc.

Oops.....just was trying to help! In my Ole fashioned Northern way! I am having fun though reading yuor storeis and talkin to ya on the phone......Hope ya can get your leg that high as I am 6'5"...won't be able to talk ugly to me as I'll take out my hearing aids and kick the dog......they think that is just foreplay!.....as far as those naughty webs.......well we will let that one be!

Okay let's try this.....it sounds as if you pick an area and set-up a blind and sit.......How about wiat for a gobble and then go after it..sneak in there...rather than waiting for it to come to you!

Or you are set in yor ways and want to pick and sit.......then if he gobbles and goes the othe direction.....git up and you go the othe direction and call as loudly as ya can and then sneak back into your blind....that one is kinda tricky though but it has worked for me....ONCE!

I have always herardGeorgia birds where tuff.....go back to the 3 soft cluck rule! No more no less...
