Camo Gun?
 

This will be my second spring turkey hunting. I was wondering if i should camo my gun, or if as long as i dont move it too much if id be fine. I have a remington 870 12 gauge 3in chamber and 26in barrel.

You don't need camo. The Express model has a great functional flat finish on the stock and barrel. But if your gun has a shiny stock or bluing, sooner or later the glint will spook your bird. Some of the camo tapes are easy toapply and remove.

Nah. Don't need to, although it DOES look cool. I've shot many a longbeard with that exact weapon.

I don't think you really need it but the tape is only 5 bucks and it does look rely good. I am in the process of doing mine in realtree advantage Timber and it should be a nice one!

you dont need camo but i like it because my guns doesnt shine so much in the sun

i have been taught by some old school hunters and i am a firm believer that a good woodsmen can hunt in street clothes and be successful, that being said i still own a 3D suit and like to keep up with the best and newest innovaitons of hunting. i dont use a camo gun when i do use a gun, my bow is camo. so i think a camo gun might helpa little but if you practice being a good woodsmen it shouldnt matter, on the other hand some people can look like a walking cabelas catologue and just cant seem to make it work. if you think that camo on your gun will build your confidence then go for it, if not than show some of your buddys you can take birds without all the extras.im sure you will have a good hunt either way. good luck

If you aren't hunting in a blind then I recommend at least a flat finished gun. Whether its camo or black is of no concern, just no shiny bluing and high luster wood to shine back from sunlight!
