Just got me a 3.5" gold and was wondering what chokes you guys like for tight patterns at 40 yards?
Looking at the undertaker, mad, and few others. Including the browning strut choke. They vary greatly with constriction from .650 to .700.

I've got a Light 10, not really light though! Rhino choke and Nitro Company Ammo. 240 pellets on a HS Strut turkey target @ 40 yards. 35 or so in the head and spine. Can't go wrong with the Rhino and Nitro combo. May be a little more expensive, but you won't be buying any others once you've got the best.

I use a gold in a 3".Use a truglo strut stopper choke with winchester HV#5's. Not sure of the choke restriction though.Taken lots of birds with this combination over the last 6 years out to 45 yards.Haven't crippled any yet, knock on wood, but I'm very careful about shot selection. If I'm not sure I can make a clean shot,I'll let them pass and try to get a better set-up.

I have shot one for the last two year and I like the MAD MAX .670 choke and winchester extended range #5's. I also have Comp-N-Choke .670 that shots Win HV #5 really well as well.
Good luck and shoot straight!
