Alabama Turkey Hunters

First of all good luck this morning as you dawn breaks here in the next few minutes and you hear those first gobbles!!!!

Second, I am headed down towards Tuscaloosa on Friday to hunt the weekend. The weather report I am seeing shows highs near 58 for the weekend with lows in the 40's. 30% chance of rain friday, 40% saturday, 60%, on Monday. Thats a pretty normal forcast for April where I live, at least at the start of season. On a scale of 1-10 how good/bad is that forcast for Bama Birds?? I wanna be optimistic!!!

The temps they are predicting are around average. The problem is, it was up to around 80 degrees on Monday! Then a t'storm, high winds, and a quick drop in temp over the past two days. I can't say that this will adversely affect the hunting around here, but definately some unusual weather patterns this past week. Your chances are much better than mine, however. I just had two employees leave me so I am working a hotel front desk from 3pm till 7am and won't be hunting this week! [:@]

Good luck but don't take all the gobblers back to NC with ya;)
