As a responsible turkey hunter I will
[*]Not let peer pressure or the excitement of the hunt cloud my judgement.[*]Learn and practice safe hunting techniques.[*]Hunt the wild trukey fairly![*]Know the capabilties and limitations of my gun or bow and use it safely always![*]Obey and support all wildlife laws and report all violations.[*]Respect the land and landowner and always obtain permission before I hunt.[*]Avoid knowingly interferiing with another hunter and respect the right of others to lawfully share the out-of-doors.[*]Value the huunting expereience and appreciate the beauty of the wild turkey.[*]Positively identify my target as a legal bird and insist on a good clean shot and insist others with me do the same.[*]Share responsible turkey hunting with others and work for the wild turkey conservation. Do you agree? Is there anything you would add? JW |

Well put.... I agree 100 percent. Another would be 100 percent fair chase.

I agree. I think you covered it all. If everyone would go by those same principles the turkey woods would be even funner than it is now. The only thing I would add is to try to take a child or elderly person hunting when ever possible.

I will not knowingly shoot at a turkey beyound 40yds. |
