I was at the local sporting goods store today picking up some ammo and a few turkey targets, i looked through the decoy selection which was stupid cause i ended up buying one and i dont need any more. It is a Buckwing Bobble head breeding pair decoy. Basically it is a bobble head jake decoy that is molded together with a hen decoy that is also a bobble head.It has to be the sweetest decoy ever.

I was THIS close to getting one at Gander Mtn. this weekend. I had my 3 yr old daughter with me and she asked me why the turkey had two heads...I decided I wasn't ready for that conversation yet

how cumbersome are these to transport? do the fold up? i thought when i saw the hen in the store it was in a small box so i'm assuming the breeding pair folds up too?

I am from Iowa, and yes the decoy folds up just like any other buckwing turkey decoy. The only thing is they all get them darn creases in them. So i never fold mine up, i just pack them all like they are. I took one of my old ones and tried a lttle experment. You know that yellow stuff in a can called greatstuff. I filled my decoy with it and it is basically a soild decoy, i really like it but it can be a pain to carry.:D

Just make sure you can keep it completely concealed. Don't want the head sticking out the top of your backpack and get shot at or anything.

I have a Bobble head hen decoy that Igot last year. Problem is, if your set-up in the woods and there isn't any wind, it acts just like a regular decoy, meaning no"head movement"!!! Truthfully, with all the attachments that come with this decoy, the head and the stakes, it's more things to worry about loosing in the woods. I'll stick with my Feather flex deeks.;)

What about the color? I hunt easterns and the color of those doesn't match what I hunt. Might that affect a gobbler's approach if he sees turkeys that aren't the type he's used to seeing?
