Pop up blinds

Gotta popup blind for Christmas this year, anybody have any luck using one or does it just scare off the game?

Father in law got one this winter too. We plan on using it this spring. From what I hear, you can pretty much set them up anywhere and they work fine. I have heard and read accounts where they literally set them up in the middle of a wheat field and brought turkeys in close enough to shoot.

Pop up blinds work great..they can set up anywhere and they fold up easily after a little practice. No they will not scare your game off. They will come very close believe it or not.

Turkeys could care less. I think they believe it's a haybale or something. I've actually had squirrels try to climb mine, jump on it and walk into it. Birds land on it and the deer don't care either, if you have the windows netted. Deer don't like the black hole.

There awesome inmho!!!I hunt out of Ameri-steps penthouse and there G-20's!They will solve the problem of those dang field birds because they will work right out in the open. They work incredible if your able to leave them in the woods a week or better where you plan to hunt. The birds as well as other game treat them as any other piece of structure they encounter daily! As mentioned for wiggly kids as well as those older folk who cant sit still for longer periods of time they absolutely are the ticket!!!Good luck...Bob

That's been my experience with them. I love to hunt out ofmine anymore, especially if the weater is adverse. I've never had a turkey spook because of the blind, but occasionally the deer think something's not right and get really wary of it. But then again, I've had deer walk withing 20 ft. of the blind and never give it a second look!
