Sorry for thye late reply here,no doubt a fine call TA...For those that never met Mike/Gobbcaller here he was one of the most knowledgable,kind,respected,turkey hunter and friends on this forum!He would post picks and right stories you could only dream about and was one of the main reasons many return to this site!Certainly wish you great success TA,a most worthy cause for sure.....;)

VERY nice work on the box call, Jerry! Looks like you've done your homework on them. If they sound as good as they look, you will have a winner for sure!

On a side note, I vividly remember your friend "Gobbcaller". I remember being very saddened at his passing even though I never knew him personally. When I first started visiting this forum, I recall enjoying his posts on his turkey hunting adventures. No one could writea more engrossingstory about his hunts than Mike could. I once bought an Osage Orange slate call from Steve Harrison because Mike used and endorsed them so highly. I still remember him each time I pull out that call.I bethe would be veryproud of your work and honored by younaming your call making venture "Foggy Holler".

I was able to score a used Bloodwood over Walnut one sider by Jerry Zebro made in 2008. To say this call has some rasp would be a huge understatement. I absolutely love it! A very easy playing call.
