RE: Struttin' tom decoy
i shot my biggest tom using a Montana Tom Turkey Decoy. it's a photo image strutter and is only 2 lbs. it belonged to my hunting buddy. it was on private land the last 2 days of the season away from any roads and we made sure we were the only ones on the property. it was a boss tom with 6 jakes and he came straight for the decoy. wasn't happy with another tom in his backyard and i shot him at 20 yards. i know he would have kept coming closer too. i also hunt public land but i wouldn't use it there....too many variables
