mouth calls, single reed.box call or slate, to me their about the same, just be sure to practice, i use them all, but mainly the mouth call, when he's 40 yds or less and don't have a good head shot, the box and slate requires movement, and you'll get busted, which ever you choose, they all require alot of practice, good luck.
