RE: These Boots are Made for Walking .....!
LoL. I don't care what kind of boots you wear here in the South. When this clay gets wet, you are on the ground. If you have boots that don't have much traction, you slide. If you have too much traction, it just boggs up with clay then you have none!
I have a pair of the Cabelas laminated rubber neophrene boots. THey are Cabelas version of the Lacross Alpha, or something like that. THe only thing I don't like about them is that they are very hot. Adrian, those are some good looking boots, if I had $400 I would probably buy a pair. Well, probably not. Thats a new gun. |

Yes the Army issued me some gortex, never say I had to wring the socks out, maybe from sweat, but the Hermann's keep them dry and warm! Wish they hadn't gone out of business I would get some more just in case!

RE: These Boots are Made for Walking .....!
I have a pair of Danners that I have had for about 9 yrs and they
have great tread on them and they are very comfortable and dry. I am sorry I can't remember what model they were called. They cost around $150 at the time but that was money well spent. |

Yes Danner is good, but sure wish I could find some more of the Hermann's. Too bad they closed up shop! [&:]
