Broadheads...

Hey guys, maybe you could help me out... A friend and I went turkey hunting last year (well, actually I called them in and he shot it... I didn't get drawn), but he used a shotgun. This year we both were drawn and we plan to use bows, as we both bowhunt for deer. He plans to use the new Gobbler Guillitene, but I would like to use a 4-blade Muzzy broadhead with an Adder tip behing it, will this work alright? Thanks for any help.

Yes it will or you could use the Muzzy standin alone. I think mechanicals are perfect for turkeys as well, perhaps more so than deer....

Shoot what you shoot all the time! Accuracy ismuch more important,
I used a Thunderhead 125 w/aluminum, but now 2 blade 90 grain w/carbon @ 53lbs.

Alright, thanks guys! It really helps to have someone to ask. Around here everyone is kinda just starting turkey hunting, so it's kinda a learning experience for all. Thanks again!

I personally plan on use a mechnical.... will be my first time too and I want to make sure it is a good clean shot. Not that you can't with non mechanicals, but from watching the mechanicals seem to work better.... IMHO
