Missouri

:Dplanning 2006,can't wait ! I hope to hunt three states this year...
Wisconsin, waiting for lottery results
Minnesota, same as above& the also have a long late season

Missouri or South Dakota?
Boone county/ public & private tags on (Indian Reservation) out there
or
Franklin county / travel distance about equal

I hunt public lands only, in a portable blindwith a bow as the name suggests...

Thanks

Wisconsin lottery period D 5/3 thru 5/7 zone 23,It was my 2nd choice
Minnesota lottery period F 5/7 thru 5/11 zone 349, also 2nd choice. I wasdisappointed to find out I could not refuse my tag &hunt the last two periods either way I still use my bow....
Once again in ten years I have never hunted in April!
Oh' well that opens up Missouri the end of April, Happy Birthday to myself ?
We'll see what the vacation schedule at my wifes mill has to say....

I grew up hunting is franklin co. MO and will be there opening day. But i have never hunted public land there. Boone Co. MO is also great hunting but again I am not sure about the public land. Both areas are well populated with both birds and hunters.
As far as south dakota, i will be making my first trip there this april.
