Indiana here and its starts towards the end of April. I also hunt missouri which starts the middle of April.

In Maine we have a split season. A seson (even birth year) start May 1st. B season (odd birth year) start May 8th.

Kentuckys season starts April 15th.Indiana's season starts April 26th. Missouri is April 24th i believe

Last Saturady in March for 37 days consecutive. 1 bearded turkey in a day, 3 per season for Spring. California

March 1 to Apr 14, bearded birds only. Up to 2/day, but 3 per season.

Some years, the tom breed in late Feb, so they're henned up by opening day. It depends on the rainfall dueing the winter more than anything.
