Default RE: Turkey Food Plots

Goose Getter,
What I plant is pretty basic, wheat, rye, or oats. Sometimes all 3 mixed together at planting time. What works with either of these, if planted now or by about November, they will all head out (put on the seeds) by turkey season and last until the heat of summer kills them back. I have on more than one occasion watched turkeys walk thru the patch picking the seeds off as they go thru it.
