RE: fall turkey calls

Im new to turkey hunting.
But from what I understand in fall the main thing to look for is food and water.
I might be wrong but any turkey call should do the trick.

Just imatate the sounds that turkeys make when they are feeding.
And the turkeys that are close enaugh to hear the calls,
Will come to see where the food is.

So look for where the food and water is.

Thats what I intend to look for.

Good Luck

RE: fall turkey calls

The main tactic used for fall turkey hunting is basically to spot a flock, run in and scatter them so turkeys go in all different directions. Then set up, and wait 10 or 15 minutes and imitate a juveniles kee kee ing and the boss hens responding with the assembly yelp.
