well tomorrow is the last day in PA... im going out and giving it my all.. my friend just called me, he is going to go out w/ me and take the video cam. w/ him.. maybe that will be my lucky charm.. its sucks the season is about over.. well wish me luck, and to all of u going out good luck

Good luck PA, tomorrow is my last day too. My RI season ended this past Wednesday. I was all set to go out, woke up at 3AM, but the 40+ MPH winds and rain pelting my window made me think otherwise. I called my hunting buddy up, he just answered the phone and said "go back to sleep!" I thought it was good advice, so I took it. Tomorrow is the last day of the CT season. I called the owner of the farm where I bagged my last bird, and he said that since the day I shot him (2 weeks ago) he hasn't seen or heard anything. Last week I came up empty there, so I tried hooking up with another CT land owner whose place I haven't hunted yet this year. It has been tough getting ahold of him, but I got him today. He said come on over, they have been roosting by the field behind his house! Last day of the season, first hunt on this property, some intel on where the birds may be...the hunt is ON!

Well, no success story from me. Glad PA bagged one. The birds were totally silent today. The landowners have been seeing them in the fields the past couple of days, but not today :(

Oh well, time to rewire my boat trailer and catch up on some fishing! The stripers are in!
