Birds wooped me last week
 

Man had a tuff time last week. Hunted 10 days and was on gobblers every day but they would not come to a call[:@] One day I had a gobbler 100 yards to my left one 100 yards to my right and one about 75 yards right in front of me. All three gobblers flew off the roost and went directly away from me. I couldn't beleive the birds this year. Sure seemed like the season was a little wierd this year:( Over all I had a pretty good season shot a nice 2 year old and a jake. I guess I can't complain:D

Man that can get frusterating when you are out that much with no luck. But congrats on the birds you did get!

In a way I'm kinda glad the season is almost over. I really put some miles on my boots this spring:D I'm slowly starting to think about deer season now:)

Ken, I was out of town the first weekend here in NY with three other friends. Each day we heard gobbles, but they didn't want to play!!!! Very frustrating for sure!! Your not the only one having a tuff season so far!!

hard a hard time myself,
went out the beginning of the month,
birds were off the roost gobbling by 5am,
going back next weekend and have to be in position before 5am,
dang early birds,
